Following eleven successful ISSNP conferences (2007, Tsuruga, JP; 2008 and 2010, Harbin, CN; 2011, Daejeon, KR; 2012, Okayama, JP; 2013, Beijing, CN; 2014, Jeju, KR; 2015, Kyoto, JP; 2016, Chengdu, CN; 2018, Harbin, CN; 2024, Harbin, CN) among China, Japan, and South Korea, ISSNP‑2026 will be held from October 29 to 31, 2026, in Harbin, the northern ice city of China. The conference is jointly hosted by Harbin Engineering University, the State Key Laboratory of Marine Thermal Energy and Power, and the Heilongjiang Nuclear Society, the event aims to facilitate high-level academic exchange.
Gathering global nuclear energy experts, discussions will delve into cutting‑edge topics, including digitalization and intelligence in nuclear energy, advanced small reactors, nuclear safety, spent fuel reprocessing and radioactive waste treatment, advanced nuclear engineering materials, and thermal‑hydraulics.
